Cheesy Crunchy Gordita - 166

Mmmmmm Cheesy Crunchy Gordita! I'm SO glad its back. It really ticked me off. When they first released it, they marketed it to pregnant women. I was pregnant at the time. Pregnant and hooked on the Cheesy Crunchy Gordita. Then... six months into my pregnancy... they stopped serving the Cheesy Crunchy Gordita! I'm telling you... it was a new kind of cruelty. I could have scratched the drive through window girl's eyes out when she said that. How cruel is it to market a food to pregnant women and then pull it after less than nine months???? So, today, unpregnant me scraped together some cash and went and got one for lunch. Oooh baby it was awesome. So, I guess it wasn't just those preggo taste buds that made it taste so super. Now, I just have to watch myself with them.

Ever had so much to do that you didn't know where to start? That's me right now. Contract summaries, budgets, copy to write... I'm just totally buried. Throw product and ad deadlines into the mix and I'm positively pulling my hair out. I needed that Gordita. My desk looks like a tornado hit it. Truly... it does. I need to catch up to the urgent stuff before I go on vacation. It would be so bad to be getting calls from work when my mother in law is in town. I know they will call too. One brand manager has been sick for a couple of days and they are calling her left and right.

Last night, I taught my class. But I didn't get into the groove until I actually stepped to the head of the class. I really didn't want to teach last night. I just wanted to veg out. Relaxation will come this weekend. Sunday, J and I are going to see the Rangers play. I'm really becoming quite the baseball fan. (Which is good... because I need some hobbies)

I'm pulling together J's birthday present. I think he'll be pretty happy. I owe him big. Last birthday, I TOTALLY messed up. I didn't even get him a cake. I sucked last year. He stopped at a gas station and got a Hostess cupcake for his birthday cake. It was a new low for inconsideration on my part.
