I Exercised! - 166
I just did 20 minutes (Burned 225 cals) on my eliptical. I feel really good. So good... that I might just get around to cleaning that kitchen. LOL! I bought my GMAT study guide today and a book called Sidetracked Home Executives. The first will get me on the road to taking the GMAT and getting into an MBA program... the second will help me get my house in order.I brought leftovers to work today. But I did have Long John Silver's for dinner. Blah... Good thing I exercised.Next week, I start teaching again. New crop of students. Well, it was good to have a week off between classes. I'm going to do a few things differently this time. Homework is due at the beginning of class. That way, they aren't doing their homework during class. I will only provide my powerpoints if they take notes. I totally spoiled them last term with the powerpoints. I'm going to start with the marketing plan expectations on day one. I will stress that last minute is not the way to do the plan and it will only make things harder if they do wait until last minute. Any other cool ideas? I'm open to it. Oh yes... and if you miss a test, you need documentation and you need to call beforehand. Miss a test without calling and your test is a 10 page essay about the chapter and it's real world application. Ha! That will get them to take the test.Got a small raise for teaching... a whopping $50 per 12 week class. Oh well, it's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. I'm glad, at least, that I have the same book and materials. Teaching is so much easier when I already have everything.Well, I'm going to watch some TV and clean that kitchen. J is feeling sick so he's upstairs asleep. Poor baby. Good to have the me time though.Weight: 166 (Yes... I did officially lose 1 pound)
