Thank God It's Over - 171
It's time to get back on track. I e-mailed my study coordinator this morning to tell her about my progress. I gained 1 lb over the holiday... traditionally much better than the 3-4 lbs I usually gain. I think I reeled myself in... not enough... but I did. I'm 171. I hope to be 169 by Wednesday if I can. I was hoping for 168... but Thanksgiving threw a monkey wrench in those plans.Something wonderful happened over Thanksgiving. I showed my mom and mother in law pictures of Holly for the first time ever. It was great. They totally accept my decision. They weren't sad at all. They were happy that we chose the family we did. I shared all about them. My aunt told me that I made a very wise decision. I feel very good about that. My cousin's two sons really annoyed me over Thanksgiving. If I don't have the patience to deal with them, I'm definitely not ready to deal with my own child.Today, J, mom in law and I are going to see The Incredibles. I've seen it already... but its an awesome movie that I won't mind seeing again. We're going to drive by where J has his interview as well.I'm going to pocket my pills so I can take them today and not worry. Preparedness is best. Will probably show J's mom my new office. I have an office mate now. Interesting guy... will be fun having him in the office. Bit of an apple polisher...Well, Thanksgiving is over... and I'm thankful for that! Now its time to get on with my diet.Blew it again today, though.Breakfast:- Piece of sweet potato pie (300 cals)Lunch:- Cup of tropical green tea (20 cals)

- 1/4 cup of rice
- 1/2 cup of garlic noodles
