Back - 174
Boo! Ha… probably thought I disappeared. It all started with Christmas. We did a road trip to CA. There and back in 4 days, including the festivities. It was a butt kicker. I gained 4 lbs over the holidays. I’m solid at 174. I’ve been walking… found a walking buddy here at work. So we go to the high school track 2-3x per week. I’ve also started doing yoga with hubby. Anyway, New Years was quiet. But when I came back to work I was given more shows. So now I have 11 of them! (This includes a series of 6 anime movies, all of which will be released to DVD this year) Life has been all about work, teaching, and TRYing to have some fun. I’m succeeding this weekend. Dinner and drinks tonight. Saturday night, Jeff is making dinner for some friends of ours and then we’re going to the symphony.New Years Resolutions:
- Lose Weight
- HAVE FUN!
- Dress more feminine
- Take the GMAT (I take it April 9th)
- Get into grad school.
- Pay off the last iota of my debt (I have $400 left of personal debt and I’m DONE)The Amazing Race… wow! That’s awesome! I really hope you get on… then I can say, that’s one of my diet buddies! I’m totally hooked into The Apprentice. I bought the Season 1 box set and now that season 3 is on, I don’t miss it. I got Jeff hooked into it too. I admit, I’m a slave to reality TV.Teaching is going well. I’m teaching customer relations now and started a new quarter last Wednesday. 42 students! I’m amazed that many people care to hear what I have to say… much less pay for it. LOL! I’ve been put into a real leadership position at work. I’m mentoring brand managers that have our biggest brands. Me… I’ve happy having the low expectation shows. That way, when they become big hits (So I hope) I’m the star.Emotionally, I’ve been good. Just trying to find a purpose to this thing called life. I’ve decided I’m just going to have as much fun with it as possible, set some reasonable goals and just let everything else happen as it may. I plan too much. (Funny… coming from the messiest, most disorganized person I know… me.)
Still, I’ve managed to fool people into thinking that I’m organized, detail oriented, and very capable. =-)I’ll try to be more talkative and involved with this diary. I wouldn’t want you to think that the person who has been characterized as a "diaryland classic" would bail.HUGS TO ALL!Weight: 174
