Stop Procrastinating
1) My lazy morning routine
2) Need to exercise
- ProcrastinationIt's morning again. And here I am, in bed, typing. I have 15 mins to get out the door again. But I don't care. In the mornings I check the weather, I check my work e-mail, I check AOL mail and then I come here. Sometimes I make an entry, sometimes not. Sometimes I just read notes. BTW -- I didn't see anything wrong with the template. I probably should host some images somewhere and put some time into it looking nice. But, unlike at the agency, I'm actually really busy all the time at work. So I don't have time to putz around on the Internet. The weather has been totally nasty, except for the past two days. But I haven't been able to exercise. Yesterday, my boss and the president wanted my opinion and two other coworkers on the structure of the department and the company. I was invited into a meeting after that, but I was so swamped that I really couldn't justify going. Although, it would have been cool to see my ideas nailed down. Anyway, I sent an e-mail to my exercise buddy letting her know that I absolutely do want to go walking today and that it will be nice all next week so we have to hit the track hard next week. I've really let myself slip. I need to get thin by convention season. I'll be working about 6-7 conventions over the course of this year and I really want to look good for them. I'm so much more confident talking to people when I look good. The first one is mid-March in Los Angeles. After that, I head to Philly, San Diego, Boston, Atlanta, and back to TX. If there are more cities, I'm just not remembering them.I just need to stop procrastinating so come convention season I am not running like a chicken with my head cut off. One very important thing is that I need to get my birth control patches. I think I will take that to work so I can take care of that. I also need to notify the CA DMV that we moved AGAIN, so they stop trying to collect registration on our cars. Oh yes, and exercise... stop procrastinating on that too. Hmmmm... now that I think about it, maybe I should get dressed and go to work. Novel idea.
