The Apprentice
1) I'm hiring.
2) Determined to be thin again.
3) The ApprenticeThis week, I got phenomenal news. My boss wants me to advertise for, interview, hire and manage two departmental resources! She's really building me up, which is so cool. This will be a first for me, so I'm incredibly excited. I've already written both of the job descriptions/ads. What's great, is these people will offload the brand managers so much and offload me most of all, since I will be their boss. So, as you know, I have a 22 day free membership at 24 hour fitness. I went on Monday and yesterday. And I'm going to go today too. I really need to get into the groove and get thin again. I'm highly unhappy with my weight. The scale at the gym says 180. That is clothed and after eating... but still... I'm 174 in the morning. It's unacceptable to me. 190 is my highest weight... I'm WAY too close to that for comfort. So kick my ass if I don't talk about working out when I post.Oh man... did you see The Apprentice last night??? As a marketing professional, I was personally upset at what both of those teams came up with. Donnie Deutch probably really pissed Dove off with that one. Thus, he had to agree to run a sweeps and do a commercial that would premiere right after the show. Funny thing is, if you saw the "real" commercial... it was significantly vanilla and "in the box." They probably had a month max to pull it together as a reactive move to the horrible commercials these two teams pulled together. One... was gay cucumber porn. The other... looked like someone came all over this guys face and he was really surprised. How many of you have used body wash without water and didn't wash it off. SHIT... these people have grad degrees for Gods sake... the cucumber people. The high school people came up with the other bad one. I'm going to go online to Dove.com and do their contest. I feel sorry for them. I really do. The message was so offensive and so horribly wrong. I talked to my husband until after midnight about it.All right... 15 mins to get ready and run. Have a super day!
